Our themed activities offer children varied and enriching experiences that support their development in key areas such as motor skills, social-emotional development, cognition, and language. Birthdays
We love celebrating birthdays at our daycare, as they are special moments filled with joy, laughter, and friendship. We take time to make each child feel valued and celebrated on their special day.
Valentine’s Day - Teddy Bear Picnic
Every Valentine’s Day, we enjoy hosting a special teddy bear picnic at our daycare. The children bring their favourite stuffed animals and share a fun, cozy moment together filled with love, laughter, and themed activities.
St. Patrick's Day
We love celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at our daycare! From building leprechaun traps to discovering the hidden treasure and following tiny footprints, it is always full of excitement and imagination. We kick off the celebration with our very own lively parade, making it a joyful and memorable day for the children.
Easter
Easter is always a special time at our daycare, as we celebrate the arrival of spring with joyful traditions like chocolate bunnies, egg hunts, and festive decorations. The children love exploring this wonderful holiday filled with fun, creativity, and excitement.
Multicultural Month - November
As a multicultural centre, we are proud to celebrate and share the rich diversity of our families. Throughout the month of November, we explore, learn about, and experience the many cultures represented in our daycare. We conclude this special month with a potluck, where families and staff bring and share delicious dishes from around the world.
Christmas
It’s no secret that we love Christmas and Santa at our daycare! From our special trip to the mailbox to Santa’s magical visit, and even sitting on his lap to receive presents, it is a truly magical time for everyone. We also put on a special holiday show for parents and spend time learning about the true spirit of Christmas: love, hope, and family.
